Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Welcome to Pillar ("Pillar," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pillar website, app, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pillar. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and all activity on your account. Don't share your account with others. Notify us at support@pillarapp.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Purchase and lifetime access

Pillar is sold as a one-time purchase for lifetime access to the current core features. Payment is processed by our checkout partner (Stan). All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

What "lifetime" means. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the Pillar service — that is, for as long as we continue to operate Pillar. It is not a guarantee that the Service will be available forever or for any specific number of years. If we ever discontinue, suspend, sunset, sell, or transfer the Service, or if it becomes commercially or technically impractical for us to continue operating it, we will provide reasonable advance notice (where practical) and a reasonable opportunity for you to export your content. No refund, credit, or compensation is owed for discontinuation, downtime, or reduced availability after the initial purchase.

4. Refunds

Because Pillar is a digital product with immediate access, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using Pillar, contact us within 7 days of purchase at support@pillarapp.ai and we will work with you in good faith.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service; (b) reverse engineer or scrape the Service; (c) use Pillar to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or harmful; (d) use Pillar to impersonate another person or brand; (e) attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

6. AI-generated content

Pillar uses AI to help you draft hooks, captions, carousels, and other content. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to publish anything generated by the Service. AI output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintentional similarities to other works — review before posting. You own the content you publish using Pillar, subject to the rights of any third-party AI providers we use.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content, profile information, and inputs you provide to Pillar. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you.

8. Service availability and changes

We work hard to keep Pillar available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we ever materially reduce the core functionality you paid for, we will give you reasonable notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. You may stop using Pillar at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

No income, growth, or results guarantee. Pillar is a content planning and writing tool, not a business, marketing, financial, legal, or tax advisor. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees — express or implied — about any specific outcomes you may achieve from using Pillar, including but not limited to follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement, leads, sales, revenue, income, or return on investment. Any examples, testimonials, case studies, screenshots, or projections shown anywhere on our site or inside the Service are illustrative only and are not a promise or prediction of your results. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your niche, offer, effort, consistency, audience, posting platform, and platform algorithm changes. You assume full responsibility for your business decisions and outcomes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pillar and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Pillar from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
